A new chapter: MLNR Publishing House at Gaudeamus 2025
Certain moments cannot be defined merely as events, but rather as milestones. They mark the continuity of a work in progress and open up a path that must be followed further.
In December 2025, the National Grand Lodge of Romania Publishing House wrote such a page with its official debut, with its own stand, at the Gaudeamus Book Fair—a space dedicated to the meeting of ideas, memory, and culture.
Between December 3 and 7, Stand 61 in Pavilion B2 (Romexpo) went beyond the function of a simple editorial presence, becoming a place for reflection, relevant encounters, and shared values.
The works presented on this occasion reflect the mission of MLNR Publishing House: honoring the past without losing sight of our responsibility to the future.
In the field of historical research, the volumes Istoria M.L.N.R. (The History of the M.L.N.R.) (Cristian Moșneanu) and Primele Loji masonice (The First Masonic Lodges) (Gabriel Țocu) offer rigor, context, and clarity on institutional and cultural roots, reaffirming the importance of thorough knowledge as the foundation of continuity.
In terms of spiritual heritage, the edition edited by Alin Comșa, “Moonlight – Mihai Eminescu,” brings back to the forefront the sensitivity and depth of Eminescu’s genius. At the same time, the volume “Catedrala Gotică” (The Gothic Cathedral) (Gabriel Valentin Georgescu) offers a reflection on architectural symbolism and its initiatory dimension—where form becomes language and construction becomes meaning.
The presence of MLNR Publishing House at Gaudeamus 2025 thus takes shape as a statement of identity and openness: a confirmation that the rigor of tradition and the vitality of contemporary culture can coexist naturally when put at the service of a higher purpose—the cultivation of the spirit.
In this view, the book is not just a cultural object, but an open work: a page written not to be closed, but to be continued.
