How far can the voice of culture reach when it is listened to with the heart?

In the context of the “Year of Mihai Eminescu,” declared by the Grand National Lodge of Romania in 2025, marking the 175th anniversary of the poet’s birth, the project “Museum for a Day – Mihai Eminescu” proposed a cultural initiative that is both accessible and rigorous, dedicated to the vivid recovery of Eminescu’s memory.

The inaugural event, held in Bucharest on May 31, 2025, marked the launch of the poetry collection “Moonlight,” edited by Alin Comșa, under the auspices of the Grand National Lodge of Romania Publishing House.

The exhibition brought together literature, art, and historical documents in a tribute to one of the most profound expressions of the Romanian spirit. Documents, rare books, and photographs relevant to the life and work of Mihai Eminescu were presented, offering the public a contextualized and authentic perspective on his work.

At the same time, the conference “Eminescu – The Man,” held as part of each “Museum for a Day” event, complemented the exhibition with an approach that humanized the portrait of the national poet, bringing his personal and existential dimension to the fore.

The project “Museum for a Day – Eminescu” subsequently expanded to Timișoara, Chișinău, Iași, Arad, Botoșani, Giurgiu, and Brașov, confirming the ongoing interest in rediscovering the work and life of Mihai Eminescu.
