Regular Freemasonry, in its modern sense, represents a structure, made up of men, organized in a Grand Lodge, with common values, with a universal vocation – belief in God, regardless of religion, respect for the laws of the country, equality of rights, love for the country and family, charity and mutual respect for people – who are educated for the purpose of self-knowledge, spiritual development, for building an educated society, oriented towards humanity.
With a non-homogeneous component, the workshop works, however, for a common project, according to principles that come from ancient times, with clear and specific positions and attributions, unanimously known and respected by all members, according to an algorithm, which contains organizational elements used for epochal constructions, starting with Solomon’s Temple, concretized in rituals.
Freemasonry instructs its members through the gradual admission of initiatory degrees, each with its own teachings, symbols and message, which involve an increasingly in-depth knowledge of the Laws of the Universe and the struggle for Truth in the service of human society.
Continuous education, justice, truth, knowledge and combating vice, but also promoting virtue, are all defining elements of the construction of the Freemason’s inner Temple, which, once acquired, he has the obligation to promote in society, for the construction of a better and more resilient world.
The universality of the Freemasonic chain gives the initiate maximum openness for knowledge and direct relationship with followers from almost any point on the globe, united by common ideals and goals. For a Freemason, freedom of thought, expression and action belongs to all mankind: regardless of race, religion or sex.
Openness to society, offering to the needy from the bounty of your work, discreetly and without the need for gratitude, stimulating and supporting young people with real talents, recognizing excellence and promoting those who have achieved it, promoting culture through the organization of events and book launches, organizing conferences in which personalities of the targeted field share their vision on current issues of society, are all manifestations and events meant to offer from the spiritual and material values of the members of the Freemasonic order.
