Carol Davila Award for Medicine: Prof. Univ. Dr. Victor Jinga was awarded for his groundbreaking study in the field of prostate cancer, published in “Clinical Cancer Research”. “A state of gratitude helps you achieve more than you have achieved”, emphasized Dr. Jinga in his acceptance speech.
Eugeniu Carada Prize for Economics: Acad. Victor Axenciuc received recognition for his work “Romania’s Economic Progress. Secular Statistical Series 1860-2010 Agriculture”. “I have to give back to society, to the community in which I have lived and live, the results of my work”, stated Acad. Axenciuc.
Spiru Haret Prize for Education, Environment and IT: Prof. Univ. Dr. Anton Adămuț was awarded for his work “Amicus Plato sed magis amica veritas. The History of the Saying from Homer to Tarski”. “The truth is not in the middle”, concluded Dr. Adămuț in his speech.
