The inaugural event, held in Bucharest on May 31, 2025, marked the launch of the volume Lumin\u0103 de Lun\u0103 (Moonlight), edited by author Alin Com\u0219a, under the auspices of the National Grand Lodge of Romania Publishing House, coordinated by Bogdan Gardin. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exhibition brought together literature, art, and historical documents in a tribute to one of the most profound expressions of the Romanian spirit. The museum displayed documents, rare books, and photographs relevant to the life and work of Mihai Eminescu, offering the public a contextualized and authentic perspective on his work. At the same time, the conference Eminescu \u2013 The Man, held during each Museum for a Day event, complemented the exhibition with an approach that humanized the portrait of the national poet, bringing to the fore his deeply personal and existential dimension.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vision behind this cultural project has been consistently supported by the Grand Master of the National Grand Lodge of Romania, C\u0103t\u0103lin Toh\u0103neanu, who has encouraged the development of initiatives aimed at bringing cultural heritage closer to the public in a lively, contemporary form that is relevant to today&#8217;s society.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Museum for a Day \u2013 Eminescu project subsequently expanded to Timi\u0219oara, Chi\u0219in\u0103u, Ia\u0219i, Arad, Boto\u0219ani, Giurgiu, and Bra\u0219ov, with over 2,500 visitors attending the eight events organized, confirming the continued interest in rediscovering the work and life of Mihai Eminescu.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the context of the &#8220;Year of Mihai Eminescu,&#8221; declared by the National Grand Lodge of Romania in 2025, on the 175th anniversary of the poet&#8217;s birth, the Museum for a Day \u2013 Eminescu project proposed a cultural initiative that was both accessible and rigorous, dedicated to the vivid recovery of Eminescu&#8217;s memory.
